    This is really coming alive in the back half for me, I have been head over heels for every track since dorothea. Currently towards the end of cowboy

    regardless of where this ends up in her discography overall it is BY FAR her most consistent album since 1989, it's gem after gem

    it's kinda funny that she considers folklore to be a summer/spring album and this one to be a winter/fall one. i'd swap those right around, but that's just me.

    "long story short" is one of the first songs of this whole album cycle that i can imagine being performed live alongside any other older TS song.
