I see a lot of people calling this poppier but I feel like it’s a lot more low key. There are a lot of interesting production flourishes and, while it may not be as immediate, I think the songwriting is maybe more interesting?
Back when she released safe and sound and ppl were asking for more stuff like that, I was picturing something like folklore or this except obv she did a way better job than what I could cook up in my brain

I'm having a drink and giving this a listen. I am going to need a lot more time to digest this. But these in no way at all feel like leftovers to me. Not even a tiny bit. This sounds like she's continuing to mine whatever creative vein she'd tapped into on folklore. Honestly it is insane that we are even sitting here listening to this so soon after folklore. Also no body, no crime is like almost every fucking thing I love in my wheelhouse all together in one holy shit haha
