Kanye just needs to take the L and apologise, put the whole damn thing to bed. The song is great IMO but the line is obviously disrespectful - that is the point we need to remember, not who lied to who.
There are obviously portions of the video missing. Because we hear Taylor reference both sections of the lyric but never hear him tell her about the second half. It's clear he did at some point tell are about the second half of the lyric, just unclear if he used the word bitch when he told her. Even if he did, it doesn't matter if Taylor approved it or not, still a bad line. My overall opinion is its a poor line by Kanye and Taylor Swift is a brand and she will lie to protect it
Famous is one of the best songs of the year imo. Second only to Ultralight Beam on The Life of Pablo.
Crazy to think Kanye West, or someone very closely associated with Kanye West, did something stupid/immature/selfish/hurtful. Just, crazy.
I think it's more about him taking credit for her fame than being called a bitch. But I agree that its weird that that line would offend her more than the other one. I can't stand Taylor, Kim, or Kanye but its been entertaining to watch the internet implode over this
I am more bothered about how they "secretly" recorded their conversation, sat on it for 6 months, and then randomly cut it up, clearly leaving some parts out, and then posted it to snap chat. If you had the video, why not just post it the minute TS started to complain about the song? KW has this really weird fetish/fascination with not only Taylor Swift, but many other women. It comes off as very creepy, stalkerish, and controlling. She has clearly stated over and over again, publicly, that she has never asked for any of this attention from him over the years. And while I'm sure part of her takes the publicity for her own sake and brand, how his wife puts up with his crazy and misogynistic behavior is beyond me. I don't care much for either of them, but I'm more inclined to side with Taylor Swift in the situation since I cannot trust a single thing that Kanye West or Kim Kardashian says or does. But Jason is right. None of this seems ok.
Read an article about PR stunt relationships and all that to keep people relevant. This seems like one of those relevance boosting PR stunts, and I hate it.
These two are so alike in their careers as in they both have problematic behavior that deserves critiquing but get a bunch of unwarranted flack too. It's almost as if the gravity of their careers are just too much that they can't help but keep colliding.
You don't think? Sounds like the whole thing was calculated by both camps. The entire episode of KUWTK last night was focused on this Swift drama.
Taylors not above doing things for pr but she'd never let herself be caught lying on video. I'm sure she'll spin it in her favor somehow as she always does, but ppl will remember this as her being exposed. Her statement alone seems shook. Kim is controlling the narrative here and I don't believe for a sec that Taylor would let anyone else have that if she had a say.
Kim gave permission for the sex tape. It was sold through vivid, they need to get permission from the parties to sell the video. If it was a real "leaked" tape (like that whole fappening thing) then that would be different. But she was in on it and gave consent, and her to continue to say anything otherwise is absurd.
I assume this was taped in California? Not that it really matters or will go anywhere but i think California is a 2 party consent state so what kanye and kim did might be illegal.
