Death Touches Us, From the Moment we Begin to Love Supporter

Foo Fighters were the first and second live concerts I ever went to in July '97 and October' 97 when I was 15. The first time being packed like a sardine in a crowd. It was forever life changing. Last time I saw them was after I graduated high school in the summer of 2000. Some great memories.

Ive been streaming and spinning their records all day. This one is going to sting for awhile.

Truly one of the greats. R.I.P.

This broke my heart. So much love for the Foos over the years, and much of that is thanks to Taylor’s drumming and general personality and antics. He’ll be forever missed.

A wonderful spirit who stood in the shadow of a giant and managed to shine his own light at everyone who had the opportunity to see him. Rest easy, Taylor.

Lithium satellite station yesterday was giving tribute to him all day, playing songs he was in, or about him.

Very nice to hear some of them. RIP

no - not really about him, but songs that were talking about things like 'I Want you back' or 'miss you' or things like that

The song "On the Mend" from the acoustic half of the In Your Honor album was confirmed by Dave to be about him.

This news hit me hard over the weekend- and I was only a fan. Both Taylor and Dave are huge influences in my life and I've looked to them for inspiration over the last 20 years as I've played the drums and played in bands. That said, I can't imagine what Dave (and the band) is going through right now knowing that he already went through this with Kurt.

My thoughts are with the band and Taylor's family. What a tragic loss.

Nobody married joy and ferocity to their instrument better than this guy, except maybe Dave. Every time he was hitting the skins, he looked like he was having the time of his fucking life – and it was also so uncannily precise and thunderous that you couldn’t believe one dude was creating that sound.

this one really hurts. Rest in power, king.
