another album where the physical and digital tracklists are going to be different. Streaming is 15 tracks, physical has 11 of those plus two others not on streaming
While overall this feels like... exactly what would you would expect, I do think it has some of her best material, she's honed in a bit more here. Still a LOT of songs that are the same ol same ol, but "Revolving door" and "bloodonmyhands" are standouts for me. "purple lace bra" is pretty good
Yeah, this is pretty much the same feelings I have for most of what she does - great production, a couple of bangers and great hooks and a lot of filler and vocals where I can’t understand half of what she’s singing.
This feels like a a couple steps behind what the best pop acts are doing right now. I hear zero personality in this music.
There’s 2 more songs available through her website if you buy the $5 digital deluxe edition. Only available for 72 hours
well, depends on the context and who and such, but yes it is a common practice unfortunately.... a bad one
From Reddit. I think (sadly) robo-signing is a fairly accepted practice. I don’t know about just straight up signing some and letting some (I assume) intern sign the rest. In a just world, they’d just have video proof to show authenticity, especially if fans are shelling out an extra $20-50 for the signature.
Went from thinking this was just fine, kind of basic and outdated (which the latter two are still true imo) to loving this in a short amount of time
