Not sure how you could not mention dashboard here.. I am not a huge dashboard fan save for the first 4 records but wow they blew me away.. All of be old acoustic songs were reworked into really great full band arrangements.. they were powerful too, and Chris' voice was the best it's ever sounded. Highly recommend trying to see them at some point if you can.
Agree, Dashboard's set for this tour has been amazing. They really reinvented their catalog to be arena rock anthems. And Chris' voice, jesus.
Meeting Chris was so cool. I know it sounds cliche, but he really seems nice and genuine. I could tell during the private acoustic set that he really still loves that intimate gathering setting that got his career as Dashboard started.
I was surprised at how good his voice sounded at the Boston date, since the May video sounded... rough. The last few times I saw him solo it was also pretty terrible.
I should have mentioned I left before he played. I'm sure the set was great but I'm not too familiar with his music and had to leave after TBS because...work night. Sounds like I missed out!
The Philly show was so much fun. I missed TEN and most of Saosin's set, save for the last two songs. TSL killed it though, although rumor is their set was cut short? (If anyone can confirm). TBS sounded amazing and I only stayed for about 6 Dashboard songs but Chris and everyone sounded incredible.
I really wish the NY show was at a smaller venue. I just felt so disconnected. Even at the peak of the crowd's size (during TBS) the venue was barely more than half full.
Chris is such a beast live. The show yesterday was amazing. Could have done without TBS, but other than that I loved it. That was my 8th time seeing TEN.

so saosin played their set without anthony green in charlotte last night. apparently got stuck in baltimore. pretty awk.
It's a bummer, but it's better than just not playing at all. I heard they facetimed Anthony in, hahha
uhh, chris some backing vocal parts for a couple songs. they brought a random person from the crowd for one. and i believe the drummer for the early november came out for 2 songs? not exactly sure who that was.
Yeah I know I already said it but Dashboard killed it. I kinda wish they'd make a live cd from this tour cuz these new arrangements sound so good.
I was planning on skipping this tour cause of the price. Last week I signed up for a Faebook contest they had for some free tickets and I just got an email today saying I won two free tickets.... What the heck?! Is this real life?! I guess I'm going to the show after all!
