his captain/chief/not sure the rank. We met him when they all went into Grasso’s station to plan the sting at the park, the FBI used the county police
just watched all of the episodes that are out of this today. holy shit. phenomenal show. my only *tiny* complaint is that I don't buy the actor who plays the middle manager biker gang guy. I don't know if they ever said his name, but he's Jason's boss, the one who's hiding out with him catching fish & searching for the duffel bag. he comes off as cheesy to me when he's trying to be menacing, and he seems kinda old & frail for all the tough ass shit he does in this. very minor, superficial complaint though. otherwise this show is absolutely spectacular. I also thought the whole time that this was gonna be 6 episodes, even right up thru the end of episode 6, and had to go and look it up afterwards to make sure there is actually one more coming. this show is what I was craving when I started watching that Eric Bana in front of a green screen instead of Yosemite show on Netflix
Perry seems older & frail, cause he is a bit. But hes been a leader of the DH forever so people are “scared” of him in a way. He also got Jayson into his position of power
the only believable thing about that guy was when he said he slipped and fell getting out of the shower and hurt himself. any of the women I have ever known that are like that Erin character would whoop that old dude's ass in a straight fight at a quarry, especially with not only her life on the line but the lives of her children too. it wasn't a big deal, it's literally my only complaint about this show, and it's still easily one of the best shows I have seen in years. all of the other actors were phenomenal. none of the accents bothered me at all and it had a really good atmosphere and sense of place. felt legit to me, but admittedly I'm not overly familiar with that part of PA.
Wasn't expecting the mini-redemption arc for Grasso so far. Only halfway through so we'll see if he does any more heroics or dies bleeding out in the car
The Grasso redemption I thought was well executed and the courtroom scene was exceptional. Jayson’s death was great too I thought. Although I’m still kinda confused about the movement around it. So is it supposed to be believed Grasso was able to get out of his car? And was that Jayson’s car he was in? Robbie’s daughter she helped him move or why was she in the back seat of Grasso’s car? Was confused by that whole part and I’m wondering her being involved in that part was just a misdirect. Meant to have us think something bad was gonna happen to her. Either way he got it good.
