Oh wow. Definitely leaves a lot of time to resolve all the stories then, I was a bit worried because we had to tie up the investigation, the dirty cop, and Jason who is supposed to be getting killed at some point no? Dude told him it’s happening on Friday but I have no idea what day we’re on haha
robbie’s zingers in the car had me cracking up. didn’t think this show was gonna hit those depths emotionally but god damn what an episode!
That was a phenomenal episode but the pacing towards the end felt so off - especially come to find out next week isn’t even the finale?
Felt it was pretty obvious that Robbie never actually had the drugs on him in the past two episodes, but man I would have laughed so hard had it actually been basketballs in the bag, considering that’s what he told Ruffalo in the car last episode.
Also it was so funny when Tom was visiting Sam and you were like he's finally visiting Ethan, men would rather clandestinely take down corrupt cops and spontaneously adopt kids then go to therapy
Predictions for the finale 1. Jason kills Perry 2. Jason goes to Robbie's house to find drugs, Maeve kills Jason while getting revenge on her dad and uncle 3. Tom and Aleah work to indict Grasso, who then confesses to being informant and rats on chief and anyone else involved, gets jailtime and works to become a priest 4. Kathleen retains her position and Aleah is promoted 5. Tom retires (or goes on leave) to focus on family, sam 6. Final scene is Tom visiting Ethan simultaneously while Maeve and the kids drive away
Yeah.. better to just let the bad men come to her home and kill her in front of the kids. When typing that out my phone kept trying to autocorrect “kill” to “milk” and that’s an entirely different show. Predictions: Grasso must die Tom adopts Maeve, the kids, Gertie, Jayson’s kids, Aleah, that one magician kid, but still doesn’t go see his son.
