Such a banger record, a shame the follow up fell short

 

Agreed. It’s been a while since I’ve tried with that one, but I gave it an earnest go multiple times and could just never get into it. Took probably 3 or 4 years but it’s one of the only records I’ve ever sold

 

i liked Nightstand but i don't revisit it haha forgot about it and her til i saw this thread bump, thanks for the memory!

 

Im gonna try to spin it agian soon, that song that she released with Jenny Owen’s Young (her wife I believe) is pretty good, it’s a different vibe but it works

 

Garden is an awesome record but Nightstand is so forgettable. I sold my copy on vinyl as well cause I was so underwhelmed with the record. I had high hopes after hearing Birthday Candles too.. big bummer.

When she came out to sing Night Channels with Conor was such a cool moment. That was an awesome tour
