i mean if you outright dismiss psych rock as a genre to begin with there's no getting through to you anyway
there's a difference between dismissing it and just totally not enjoying anything i've heard from the genre as a whole
I’m assuming the release date reminds me of this time of year, but I always get the itch to listen to Lonerism this time of year. Hope we get new music next year
I feel like the opposite, In 2010/2011 I think that the label and Theo were trying to make it big, but then it seems like he completely rejected accessibility and got weirder and more distant from what would be mainstream
That could be true, thought he was still on Warner. Only track of his that ever made an impression on me was Humdrum Town
I think they are similar to when Phoenix headlined. They are huge in their specific scene, their last album gained a lot more fans, and Coachella is banking on their next album (probably before the fest) being their biggest yet.
The Pitchfork crowd this year was massive. I could barely move so I just ended up sitting in the back
