I got a free ticket to the MSG show tonight, not a huge fan of Tame but they’re putting on a good show

Absolutely phenomenal live band (will be at MSG tonight) but they are in desperate need of new material or at least mixing up the songs in their setlists. Been playing the same show since 2015...

 

Borderline is such a jam. can't wait for the next full length

 

I apologize for talking shit on the setlists getting stale. It's a valid complaint but this band absolutely incinerated MSG last night.

 

On a scale of 1 to the Amazon?

 

Lulz.

I've seen them 10+ times since 2013 and I think this was the best I've seen them play. Just absolutely stellar production value and they sounded great. Good crowd too.

 

How was the merch?

 

10+? Crap that's ridiculous. After all the years of waiting they finally come to Houston via a normal tour and just my luck I'll be outta town. Sigh.

 

Yeah, seen them all over the place...Coachella 2013, Coachella 2015, Prospect Park, Terminal 5, Beacon Theater, MSG, Radio City, Governor’s Ball...

 

What’s the deal with a new album?

 

He’s taking his time and doesn’t feel pressured by anybody to do anything anytime soon.

At least this is a significantly different version of the song. Rihanna straight-up ripped it off and even copied the same vocal style ha...at first I didn’t even realise it wasn’t the original

 

yeah, this is just a mashup but it’s pretty great. The dude’s channel is pretty amazing, he’s really talented.

As far as the Rihanna cover goes, I’m 99% sure it’s just all the original tracks but her voice instead of Kevin’s. It’s more like karaoke I guess haha. I mean, it’s not bad, but it’s unnecessary.

well the performance is great and the visuals are a huge production. so no.

 

Not at all. The visuals are something else and Kevin sounds great live. They don't move around a lot but it wouldn't make a lot of sense if they did.

I just saw them in August and my only complaint was that it absolutely FLEW by. The just played one song after another for an hour and fifteen/hour and a half then it was done. It felt like we just got there when it was over.

IMO these guys could/should easily play for two hours
