This is brilliant BUT is the riff just not straight out of Childish Gambino’s Redbone? It’s strikingly similar anyway.
Ehh, but I wasn't big on a couple of the pre-released songs from Currents until I heard them in the context of the album so I'll give this that same chance.
The lyrics on this are really great and definitely strike a chord with me. The production is other-worldly as well. Really can't see a reason to not like this
I like these singles, it's a shame the wide-spread consensus is so down on them. They're not the level of Currents' singles but that's the kind of record that low-key haunts an artist for the rest of their career because it's that good. Obviously the bar is set impossibly high for the man who released Lonerism and Currents, but the vibe is still here on these last two tracks.
Loved borderline and this one. Not as big on it might be time, but I still enjoy it. The guy can’t miss as far as I’m concerned. Like that they’re all pretty different sounding
this is the only single I haven't loved from this album cycle, but I get the impression it sinks in with more listens anyway
Not huge on this one after a couple listens, but I liked Borderline and loved It Might Be Time, so hopefully it’ll grow on me
