Majority of people at Firefly are from Philly/NJ/DC area. Sorry for assuming that a weekend festival taking place less than an hour away from Philly would be considered an adjacent date.
How does this hold up for people compared to Currents? I'm listening to Currents for the first time in a while, and it definitely has it's fair share of bangers, but I think I'm leaning towards liking The Slow Rush more. Feels more consistent all the way through.
This record was more of a slow burn for me, I definitely didn’t like it nearly as much when it dropped, but now I think I would also rather listen to it
Yeah I do enjoy that it's released as a standalone thing instead of like, a new 20-track album or whatever. These 8 songs are 54 minutes total too, a full album's worth!
im expecting at some point in his career hes gonna be making albums where alot or all the vocals are features. place bets on if this is the album that will start that?
with the 10th anniversary of lonerism fast approaching youve gotta hope theyve got something like this planned for that.
yeah it's the only other album they could reasonably do this for as their other two records got the deluxe treatment with b-sides and offcuts etc.
Happened a while ago but am very happy they went ahead and uploaded it officially recently. Was watching it the other night, so good.
