yeahhh this is a disappointing album for me. I think it has 2 maybe 3 tracks that are incredible and then the rest is unremarkable. I’m still surprised to feel that way.
I like this record when I put it on and there’s nothing I outwardly dislike about it, but I don’t really think about it much at all.
Just noticed a song exploder episode for “It Might Be Time” came out a few weeks ago, if anyone’s into that
I love Song Exploder, but I haven't driven to work in a long time so I haven't listened to any recent ones haha. I'll bank them up for when I drive again next
Listened to the extended track and really wish I liked it more :/ Thought it would have more going on that I found interesting
While I think The Slow Rush is technically the better album, I haven’t revisited it as much as I revisited Currents when it came out.
Wow five years already. The Less I Know The Better showed up on my New Music Friday on Spotify the day that album came out and that’s when I first got into them.
I think it flows better, contains some of his best songs, especially lyrically, and the songs are more consistent. The highs on Currents are much higher though.
