That production style is so great, Skeletons is one of my favorite songs on Astroworld just because of the beat
I can't get over this album, I have my standout favorites that are so infectious I can't stop listening (Breathe Deeper, Lost in Yesterday, Is it True) but I am trying not to overplay and in the process really falling in love with some of the other stuff. Part 2 of Posthumous Forgiveness is one of my favorite parts of the album, particularly that lil guitar riff my god...I am going to try and hold off on listening to Currents in full until at least May because I am going to Governors Ball solely due to my love of this album and I don't want to overlisten. I feel like I was blessed not to hear Currents before this so I could just listen to it fresh and not compare but totally understand why others would after all the praise that album got
huh yeah so "The Less I Know the Better" got #1 on Triple J's hottest 100 of the decade ...look it's a good song and all, I like it, but best of the decade? wooof
It would be interesting if Triple J decided to incorporate a ranked voting system where the order people send their votes actually matters. Without fail, the #1 seems to be a safe/obvious choice - something that probably NOBODY would say is the very best song of that year/decade, but everyone liked enough to include it on their list.
I’m not gonna listen to this anymore until I can see them live now that Gov Ball is cancelled. Too painful
NME just posted this article a few hours ago. Thoughts? Every Tame Impala song ranked in order of greatness
I extremely didn’t want to complain about this list but the top ten I definitely disagree with. The Less I Know is certainly a bop but being number one is kinda crazy to me, seems like kind of a take to not have the obvious choice of Let It Happen
