I really love both songs equally in terms of composition, performance and lyrics. In the end though, if I were making a mix to introduce someone to TBS who had never heard them before, I'd put MBH on it before Spin. It captures everything the band is about, but it's not too aggressive which can be something that turns some people off on first listen. Plus it's just a great song and like I said before, I'm a sucker for strings...or anything acoustic for that matter...

Spin! I remember when this song leaked. I was losing my shit bc it was so good.

I will say I didn't expect these two songs to be in the championship round, but I like that they are and that it happened that way.

 

I had a feeling coming in to Louder Now bracket that the results would be surprising. I was not disappointed. I mean, MDS losing round 2? Brooklyn making it to the final 4? Spin and MBH the championship round? Surprises all around

I had intentions of voting for Spin. Decided to listen to both songs again and now I'm gonna have to vote MBH instead

 

I am going to end up losing some sleep over the WYWTB bracket haha
