Yeahh, to each their own. I just don't think any of the songs on that record stand out aside from El Paso. Maybe Call Me In The Morning, too, but God those lyrics are bad. "You reached into my mouth and pulled out a single bloody tooth" criiinge. I'll admit Money and This Is All Now are pretty good songs, too.
some TBS lyrics make me cringe but that isnt one of them. the S/T has grown on me a lot and i like the more varied songwriting on it. like Chase said, theres some career highs on that album but tracks like Faith and Money are just kinda there. i like the S/T more than HI, TW, and LN at this point i think. but i really like them all so
NA reminds me the most of WYWTB if anything. Its got the variety and the structure that a lot of the WYWTB songs had and that whole album is just dripping with aggression and spite. Catholic Knees sounds like a fucking Glassjaw song at times, Carpathia has some funk influence in it, Lonely, Lonely and Swing are just so aggressive and menacing, Summer Man reminds me of Decade a lot, and of course EMG is just simply one of the best songs they ever wrote. idk i always go to bat for NA and im sad that the band and most of the fans dont at least appreciate it. its probably my 3rd favorite? idk it changes a lot sometimes

This Is All Now the best two off the record. Absolutely love everything about This Is All Now and the bridge is a huge moment to me. Classic John and Adam trade offs
