New Again was my least favorite for a long time. Both of them are by far their two weakest albums, imo. I edge New Again slightly above ST just because of how good Swing, Carpathia, EMG and a few others are.
This Is All Now Best Places To Be a Mom That second one was hard. "Best Places" and "Call Me" might be my favorite 2 on the album, but ultimately "Best Places" has more of what I like from TBS in it, and "Call Me" loses a few points for not being that good of a closer.
New Again and S/T are both the same in the sense that between the 2 records there are a lot of duds, but also some Top Tier TBS songs. Easily their worst two records though
This Is All Now- Easy pick for me Call Me- This is the hard one. Leaning towards Call Me for being arguably their best closer and John screaming "DON'T KNOW WHERE WE'RE GOING" at the end always giving me chills
This is tough. One is an easy choice, based on personal preference, but both are good. The other is tough. Gonna sit on this for a hot minute.
This Is All Now Best Places To Be a Mom Edit: also, to join the discussion from a few posts up, New Again is probably my second favorite TBS record after WYWTB and S/T is def my least favorite. I'm weird.
Nah see perfect songs on s/t: Best Places, This Is All Now, Call Me In The Morning, Sad Savior, You Got Me Great songs: the rest of them
Re-listening to New Again right now in preparation for the next round. This album is certainly unfairly maligned. I like it more than the self-titled.
100% agreed. It was a step down from Louder Now. But I remember it clearly when TBS reunited with Nolan, and the hype was such a let down when we finally got the S/T. I remember so many saying how much better it was than New Again and even Adam saying the same but I never saw it.
