This band is insane to me. They are the only band, to me, that tend to have horrendously awful songs and insanely great songs on an album, and the good overshadows the bad. That's how good the good is. But man, those bad ones are REALLY bad. In this case it's just a mediocre one. But songs like 20/20 Surgery and Miami have fans and they are unlistenable garbage. No other band I listen to has such polarizing reactions to all their songs. Generally favorites amongst fans are amongst the same group of songs. There are exceptions, but most fans of other bands i talk with have similar Overall views on quality of songs. But TBS's absolute worst garbage has such a strong vocal (incorrect) defense. It's honestly a unique experience for me over all these years of chatting on AP.
Yeah I think every song has a fan except Money lol. But eh, different strokes for everyone I guess. At least there aren't hipsters on this thread that say TAYF is their only good album and everything after that is garbage.
Who said I did that? Just because those are the two examples I randomly picked doesn't mean they are worst. I was saying they are unlistable garbage, which is true. But i didn't say they were the worst or they were the only ones.
It's more than "a fan" though. That's what's unique about TBS fans to me in my like 14 years of TBS forum chats. Most bands may have "bad" songs that someone will like, but they are an outlier. It happens. TBS defenders will usually have a good amount of people sticking up for "bad" songs. I don't really see that with other bands.
Oh I know, I was just poking fun. And with them as my second favorite band I'll even admit you're right, it's fascinating and kind of cool
I'm the worst, I know. I revisited the self-titled today. Has anybody ever pointed out that most of the songs on that record transition from their bridges to final choruses super similarly? Also, Sad Savior This Is All Now Call Me In The Morning Best Places to be a Mom Since You're Gone would've gotten my vote had it gone up against any other song on the album.
I like "Money". I wish they made a music video of that song and hired me to direct it. It would've been TBS walking into a biker bar, dropping coins into the jukebox interrupting whatever was playing to put on their song 'money', everyone starring them down for helping themselves at the bar, and then getting into a bar fight with the bikers and winning. Pool sticks wouldve been broken, glass bottles would've been smashed, and at the end the TBS black panther wouldve been burning into tavern door to mark their territory after straight up owning everyone. #RockStars

Sad Savior This Is All Now (Money is one of the worst songs ever recorded by this band. Maybe the worst) Call Me In The Morning Best Places To Be A Mom
Cannot believe some people are picking Faith over Call Me!!!! Y'all are gonna kill me with this madness!! My SUPER HOT TAKE: I hate Faith. It is my least favorite song on the album (Yes, even worse than Money for me! I don't hate Money. It's just kinda there for me).
Yeah I did not see Sad Savior keeping close to El Paso, let some being ahead it by 4. I like both songs but this is a surprise
