They’ve said the last couple years that they want to do another thing a la Orensanz but they dont want to do it Just To Do It™️. They want the time and place and everything to be intentional and right. So, eventually, probably!
His voice is unbearable on new again (the song) but for the rest of the album, I think he sounds good...although didn't Fazzi accuse him of editing his voice so much during the mixing process or something?
Fazzi is great. He was a touring guitarist for the Movielife when I saw them ages ago and he was doing a great job and looked like he was having fun.
Oh yeah! I think he did say that of Orensanz and Live at Bamboozle, and Adam’s response was basically like “yeah, his vocals were too.” And Fazzi lobbied hard for “Didn’t See That Coming” to be included in the set and Adam, Eddie and Mark were not about it because it was a b-side and they were jaded by New Again at that point. Jokes on them though because I think it’s one of the highlights of that performance. In Fazzi’s defense, being kicked out of TBS and having the band take shots at him & Rubano after the fact was still pretty fresh so I don’t blame him for calling out Adam’s vocals.
Didn’t know the band took shots at them. Back in the day I only read Fazzi’s comments and assumed he was angry and kind of an asshole.
Fazzi seems like a nice guy, plus he sings like an angel, looks like a jonas brother, and shreds like a god.
IIRC I think someone in the band (can’t remember who) made a comment about how all of the ideas Fazzi was bringing to the table sucked before they kicked him out. A lot of those ideas became Happy Body Slow Brain songs.
I might be the only one excited for the ME. album and I’m cool with that. The songs remind me of TBS’ self-titled album.
Seeing TBS do a one off with Yellowcard in PA. Excited to see which lineup we get. Kind of like a mystery box. Fred seems to be putting in the work. Still doing Color Fred opening slots.
