*SPOILER ALERT* Fred will sound *much* better than John (and Adam, of course).

 

(Nerd alert) I’m just excited for their live guitars to sound fuller/more aggressive again. That’s been missing since Eddie left. Something about John’s live guitar tone sounded off to me.

 

No setlist posted yet but I heard they played This Photograph is Proof which is awesome!

 

Saw a few Instagram clips and Fred is crushing it and Adam sounds…decent?

Glad they're finally playing MakeDamnSure a step down, I was hoping they'd do this as well

Someone said that they did This Photograph so I don't fully trust that setlist.

Solid setlist, and they sound good in those clips. I’m still so bummed this tour isn’t coming near me

I’m just happy I get to see my favorite TBS song “My Blue Heaven” actually played with Fred, the one who wrote it. Wednesday can’t get here soon enough!

Just seeing him do his classic tapping and harmonic stuff makes me emosh... sounds like home.

Really hope he stays around and ends up writing and recording with them.

 

Adding Fred back permanently would go a long way to making this band feel “whole” again.

 

Yea i really hope they keep Fred and that John sticks around when he’s ready to come back. Although i truly feel like tbs is John and Adam, Fred will make them so much better and i fully support them adding him as a full time member.

 

Yeah them with John and Fred would go insane. They should just bring fazzi too. 4 guitar assault.

 

Without having any insider knowledge, i feel confident that Fred will eventually be a full time return even when John is back. Not only is it the best they’ve sounded live in 10 years, having Fred back in the studio could really spice up their songwriting.

 

Absolutely. I really miss his awesome riffs in their songs.

 

As well as This Photograph. They hadn’t played that song much since the 20 Year tour in ‘19.

 

I know tonight is only the second night of this tour, but does anyone know who is closing?
