I know they'll be dropping a new song on that compilation CD of John's but if there's more coming besides that, I'm even more hyped!
Mark once said he thought Fazzi’s ideas sucked but these songs are great and if given the chance to have the TBS spin put on them, something special could’ve happened there
i love when people say things like "Fred was the best part of the band" "Fazzi was under utilized" listen. i love both those dudes and i REALLY loved fazzi, but if they were so incredible at what they did, their careers after would have taken off as well.
Fazzi is really talented, but I don't think his music style was really the best fit for what TBS had in mind at the time. Plus the personality clash seems to have been an issue.
John once tweeted something like "you don't miss Straylight Run. You just miss being young." And I definitely do not miss being young. But I do miss Straylight Run. Hoping they do another double duty at the holiday show this year or a few select dates leading up to WWWY outside of the Vegas sideshow.
Prices for their WWWY sideshow were too steep for me. Was mainly planning to go to see Straylight- I'll just be happy with their festival set, lol.
Currently just a few shows, that I know of. I think one is in New York and another is in Chicago. I think it’s something they may leave the door open for. I know Will Noon is not returning for any of the planned shows.
Damn, this hurts my heart. Love his drumming and was always hoping to see him in another band (or in a dream scenario, if he wanted to do it, in TBS after Mark)
I didn't realize that the fees were included in the price it showed me initially and was shocked at first by the $94 GA price tag. Then I got to the check out page and it showed me the base ticket was about $70 and for a line up with three bands that I know will entertain me, that felt like a decent deal. But I can see that being too steep for a lot of people.
I just realized that the tour starts in two days and I am so unbelievably excited to see what the setlist is going to be.
I will be surprised if it deviates terribly far from the same 15-ish songs they always play plus an extra 2 (possibly another from Louder Now like Spin, and maybe another Where You Want to Be song like 180, but this is more me being hopeful). They didn't play You Can't Look Back at Great South Bay and that bummed me out a little bit. Gonna be really interesting to hear Fred do all the post-2010 songs. Can’t wait to hear how S’Old sounds with him playing John’s parts
I feel like it's gonna be most of the same but Bonus Mosh would be a fun surprise. Or Miami since Adam loves that one and Fred played it at a solo show a while back
