No doubt the Terrible Things album is the best with his solo Bend to Break not too far behind. It’s a shame the Terrible Things album didn’t get the love it deserved. I wonder if it came out a few years previously it would have been better received.

 

I remember checking out Revolution when it came out but it didn't click with me. Not sure if I just didn't like Andy Jackson's voice or the lyrics didn't connect or what.

 

that makes a lot of sense, I figured Veronica Road was a really good closer

 

I was the same, I thought it was pretty generic but the full album has more stronger songs on there. The Hills of Birmingham is worth checking out.

 

I feel like that album really kicks off around Lullaby and then it's bangers to the end. that 3 song run of Lullaby, t/t and Conspiracy is sublime

 

The Hills of Birmingham is my favorite song from Fred. So good

 

such a banger, if you don't feel something when that lick from Little Devotional comes in at the end, I just don't know man.

(I know the lick was Fred's and used in another song too, I'm just blanking on what it was)

Listened to TBS my whole drive this morning and gosh darn it, I love this band so much. They’re one of the few bands I’ve grown up with and have only loved them more and more as the time passes.

I'm pretty sure that lick was originally in a Breaking Pangea song, then used in Little Devotional, then used in Lullaby, and then used in a song on his newest album (I think the song is Veronica Road). It got around!

 

I really hate to pile onto Mark's songs but man that new clip is hilarious

they don't know because you're CRAAAAAAAAAAAAZY

 

But, he was the real orchestrator behind TBS' music

 

The best way to get people to believe that you're not crazy is in fact to just call everybody else crazy in a song.

 

Just coming in here to say that I’ve been listening to Happiness Is all day and i think this was them at their peak post-reunion. Hell of an album that holds up 10years later. Always loved Tidal Wave but HI is hitting.

Yeah the ending to this song is beautiful.

 

It’s so good. It’s a very mature album overall, and with the exception of “Like You Do”, every song hits

 

replace like you do with this is happening and you have a perfect tbs album

 

I was never a big fan of "Like You Do" too, it's a bit generic. If you replace it with "How I Met Your Mother" though...we're golden.

 

I just stumbled upon this band Like Roses. Their newest EP was produced by Fred and holy shit it’s so good. Their frontwoman’s got such a unique voice
