Unfortunately, I think she might have some struggles of her own, so she’s throwing out a lot of outlandish claims, but I think there might be one or two that have a kernel of truth in it. The mother thing seems unlikely and is either completely made up or a freak coincidence.

As much as I hate speculating about his mental health, it’s sad that Mark has people who are actively encouraging and contributing to this behavior, but I guess he’s burnt bridges with everybody who wouldn’t and is only surrounding himself with people who agree and want to further his narrative. I hope somebody can reach him soon and at least get him to a place where he’s no longer lashing out like this, even if things between him and the band are irreparable, because it’s worrying behavior.

 

Tbh if I was the band’s legal counsel, I would advise them to do just the same

 

This is a dumpster fire. It appears the band has been trying to deal with this internally for about a year now, but clearly some boiling point was reached and now we're watching a mess unfold in real time. If this is the version of Mark they've been dealing with, then I totally understand the band trying to distance themselves. I feel bad for Adam, John and Shaun because a bunch of deeply personal and private stuff that may or may not be true is being made public and they're just bystanders like us. In my opinion, they're trying to handle this the right way while Mark continues to look worse with each passing hour. Hope this gets resolved soon cause it's not good for anyone.

 

I think their silence regarding his absence makes a lot of sense now that a lot of this is coming out, and I always figured them not addressing anything in a larger way was due to some kind of respect for his privacy during difficult time.

Their management (and probably lawyer) have to have some idea of what’s happened in the past week, but there’s a good chance that the other members themselves don’t even know (unless people are texting them updates personally) most of what’s been said on the reddit and Mark’s Instagram comments. John is likely blocked based on the unfollows, Shaun hasn’t been on Instagram in a long time, and while Adam posted to his story yesterday there’s a good chance he hadn’t been on Instagram the day he was tagged in something, and all of them seem very Offline when they’re home with their families. But I imagine they and a lot of their friends have been advised to not make any comment—especially not one in text—for the time being.

 

The way this makes every anonymous poster in the reddit so mad
