Taking Back Sunday - Boot All Your Friends

 

XTBS would be a fun show to go see haha. It could be kinda like that 3EB band made up of ex members.

 

All for Fred joining Adam again. Those two together are amazing.

 

Can't wait for the band to make an album with Fred, boot him in 2029 and reunite with Fazi, make an album with him, kick him out and bring John back in 2031.....

 

I’m kind of getting the feeling that this band may never write or record again.

I hope I’m wrong because 152 fucking rules (as does HI and TW), but even getting that took 7 years and now with Mark out and (potentially) John taking a leave, I could see them just focus on touring with whoever is available from here on out.

And as badass as 152 is, outside of this website, I don’t think I know anyone in real life who even knows it exists and a lot of my friends were big TBS fans.

 

All this Fred talk made me put on Terrible Things today. Still such a great album.

 

Haha don't worry Lenny, I'll remember you either way. It would be very understandable for John to take time off if health is involved, or if he just wants a break and Fred is game to step in.

I really hope we get to hear a future album with all of them writing together.

I am confused by all the folks who think they’ll never write or tour again as if this isn’t their primary source of income and they still regularly sell very well. This band has made good albums with pretty much every version of the lineup. As long as Adam is singing it will always “feel” like TBS, imo

 

Seriously tho. And if Fred is back, the man is a songwriting machine. They got this.

The only certainties in life are death, taxes and both TBS and NFG touring for 75% of each year.

A Fred reunion tour sounds fun. It would be even more interesting if he wasn’t filling in for John and it was the two of them together. Hell a record with Fred and John as the guitarists would be rad.

John will be present at a few of the 2025 shows, the ones he can make. For instance When We Were Young will be a Fred+John show
