Even some of the worst albums I've ever listened to were not so bad that I couldn't get past the opening track. And Tidal Wave is actually good.

Can you imagine watching the first scene of a movie and just turning it off lmao.

I like holy water but its here bc it didn't have to go up against at least the top 4-5 on the album

 

If that's the case, if it passes the top 4, it'll be murdered in the finale. Always works that way.

 

I want to love "Holy Water" but Adam's voice strains in such a way that it's tough to listen to. I loved this song live, but his voice doesn't break up in this song how I enjoy it in others.

 

I'll admit, the vocals on Holy Water were a little rough the first time I heard it. I dunno if I just got used to them or if something else clicked, but they just don't bother me and I actually love the way he sounds on that song. It's top five TBS for me.

I like the lyrics and the way it's sung maybe I'm just weird lol. The lyrics make me think of meeting a woman in a bar, one who doesn't see how important she is to people.

And johns vocals at the end. Mmmmmm
