Here's a very off-topic but true numbers/perspective thing: TBS released TAYF, WYWTB, Louder Now, New Again and the self-titled album in a span of nine years and three months. Also true: TBS has released just one album in the past nine years and five months...Tidal Wave. This info is mostly useless, but it's hard to believe that's true. Is time even real anymore?
I'd be more curious about a Fazzi, Fred and Matt band than ANY other lineup TBS could create with ANY or their prior members tbh
This thread is the only place in the world who gives a shit about Fazzi in Taking Back Sunday. I get that he's a talented artist, Facing New York is amazing and Happy Body Slow Brain is pretty cool.... He brought nothing to TBS, and that's ok.
Love the guy in every project he's been a part of but he just wasn't a good fit for TBS, as much as I love his contributions to New Again, at least the moments I can tell weren't written by Eddie but seemed to showcase his input.
Weren't they considering Andy Jackson from Hot Rod Circuit before they settled on Fazzi? Really curious what they would've sounded like with him.
Feels weird that they would do this “live” thing for just a single drop, so I’m cautiously optimistic
I've never heard this before, but it is interesting since he and Fred formed a band later on. This album was great - but not better than New Again.
I think I heard the Andy Jackson thing, and then I also believe one of the guys from Envy on the Coast was in the running, too.
