I don't mind Cut Me Up Jenny but I 100% cannot blame someone for finding Adams vocals to be grating on that one.

It's the same reason I can't listen to Holy Water.

I've always found Adam's vocals to be a core feature to TBS, not a bug. But, if that's one of the ones that pushes them further than some are willing to go, fair enough I guess.

 

I was thinking about how I got into this band later than most and trying to remember when and how I did. And then, I remembered the pivotal role this mash-up album had for me:

 

legion of doom blew my mind when I was 13

 

Legion of Doom was amazing at the time.

 

Yeah Legion Of Doom is so good. I asked Trever Keith if he had any to buy when he was on a solo tour and he was like "nah just download it" lol

 

Someone on Reddit just dropped that full Legion of Doom Incorporated album and I hadn't listened to it in years. It holds up insanely well.

Random question, does anyone have a copy of TBS's live performance on Yahoo Screen back when they were touring on Happiness Is? Seeing them play They Don't Have Any Friends live was dope.

 

I thought that was a Tidal Wave show? Or did they play Yahoo twice?

 

I did manage to find these performances from that show:

 

Must have twice! It was in the Egyptian Room in 2014 I believe

 

It’s possible the Tidal Wave one was not Yahoo but another site. I hadn’t really gotten into TW yet and just watched the songs after the album.
