Maybe because it was before 6am when I listened to the new song, but that fake vibrato effect on Adam’s vocals was quite irritating. Thought the song was alright overall. A little underwhelmed, but appreciate that it’s different for them and am happy they’re back. Was really waiting for the song to take off but it never did. At least not the way I was expecting it to.
yeah don't love the vocal filter on both of them at all but the songs growing on me a bit. listening to it after two straight days with no sleep was not the vibe yesterday lol
If I made my top 10 song list, The Killers would probably have 3 songs on it. I just don't hear them in this song lol
Listening for the first time now, it’s more emotive and melodic than what I remember the last couple of albums being. They had a dissonance to my ears that I couldn’t get past.
Beginning of the music video Adam says "should we play all the new songs?" And then at the very end there's a short clip of another new song. Feels like an album announcement is definitely coming today.
