i think it's somewhat different for them? very tight, very produced, yet feels like it's following up all the tom petty influence on tidal wave. adam sounds fucking great. very pleased
It’s a good song! I really love Adams delivery and where John sits in the mix. “I’m better off for betting” feels like one of those classic Adam lines that’s so simple yet so good. I am confused about this being the song to return with after seven years. It feels like a deep cut that I’d love, not a lead off single. edit: maybe that’s a new strategy? Gaslight felt the same way. I love Positive Charge but it definitely didn’t feel like a single.
Solid song, I really like John’s part. I like this direction for them. The teaser clip at the end sounded interesting too.
Not bad. Starts a little slow with those Adam verses but it gets better for sure. John’s parts definitely a highlight. Reminds me of a combo of Happiness Is and Can’t Look Back. sounds like we got the first few seconds of the next song at the end there too
Three listens to it and it's already growing on me quite a bit. I am not totally sure at this point if it's just hype to have new TBS or not but I am happy either way haha
Has a lot of interesting elements. Seems like a grower. I dig John's parts. Sounds like another evolution of their sound like every album before so I'm excited for what comes next.
Sounds like the killers? I don't like it. But I haven't really liked any of their new sound since self titled. John's part isn't bad, honestly if Adam's not belting it just isn't it for me with this band.
I’m a happy boy right now. My face hurts from smiling listening to this song over and over. What a rocker
Great song! Definitely interested in the new song that was being teased at the end of the music video too but this will do nicely for now
