Also, we all need to prepare to hate each other's votes TBS has some incredibly awful songs and they will somehow win rounds that will blow my mind. All their songs have fans, honestly the worst songs have some very vocal fans I have found.
I may one day. I suspect it's at least fine. I've enjoyed everything the OG Line up has done. New music just seems to take low priority to me these days.
I can't believe the amazing title track is being knocked out in round 1. If any track was going to knock it out though, it was Death Wolf. Those are my two favs off the album. The first three tracks are maybe the best stretch on any TBS album
I'm a diehard TBS fan, but I'd definitely say they have some bad songs. Blue Channel, Head Club, Little Devotional, 20/20, and Blackout are all pretty bad off the top of my head. Little Devotional might be a controversial pick but Adam's vocals are so grating on that song
I like Little Devotional but everything else I'm right there with you. Also, I'm not big on Cut Me Up Jenny (but I do think New Again is underappreciated.)
Ok everyone I am calling this round done, as it seems plenty of people have voted. Here are the final totals: Holy Water-11 I Felt It Too-10 You Can't Look Back-19 We Don't Go In There-2 Call Come Running-15 Homecoming-5 Tidal Wave-6 Death Wolf-15 This will see Holy Water, You Can't Look Back, Call Come Running, and Death Wolf move on to round 2. Good start everyone! Here are the next matches: TIDAL WAVE ROUNDUP ROUND 2 Holy Water Vs. I'll Find A Way To Make It What You Want You Can't Look Back Vs. All Excess Call Come Running Vs. In The Middle Of It All Death Wolf Vs. Fences Begin!!
I think they have their fair share of boring songs, but as far as super boring/straight up bad ones: Like you do, sad savior, money (let it go), catholic knees, carpathia.
Holy water All excess (really tough call, but that pre-chorus is astounding) Call come running Fences (tied with excess for my album favorites) Tough round, damn this album's good.
Sad savior is one of my favorite TBS songs off the self titled. Like You Do is probably the only TBS song I outright dislike. And why tf is it right after Better Homes and Gardens, one of their best songs?
