There's 4 or 5 very good songs on New Again but the constant stanning for the album makes me never want to listen to any of it again lol
It's literally the most brought up album in this thread which makes no sense. So yeah those like myself that can't stand it may tend to overreact
Ok - picture this: an acoustic version of cut me up jenny recorded in a bathroom like the self-titled tayf acoustic bonus tracks.
It's as annoying as the Blink-182 thread constantly dismissing their reunion album to uplift the Skiba records (or the reverse on other online places), pretending there's a big gulf in quality between those when all have their flaws and, at the end of day, are simply... fine at best.
I don't agree with the "fine at best" part, but that's the nature of personal opinion. But Jesus Christ, people throw out those out like they're coming down a mountain with it written on a stone tablet. "Sorry guys, God said the album sucks."
I think New Again should be an off limits topic until the band acknowledges it in a set again. Edit: this is a bad rule because they did so at their last show in December. LOL
I need the New Again bsides on streaming services. Long Time Comin', Didn't See That Coming, Winter Love, the chill rendition of Carpathia... all standouts.
The blink comparison isn’t fair because New Again actually has a handful of good songs on it and Neighborhoods only has like one or two. Cali and Nine are miles and miles ahead of Neighborhoods haha. New Again was just a huge let down after the previous two albums. And it’s probably their worst album in their discog.
