Fred Mascherino: 'I Left TBS Because It Had Hit The End Of The Road' Stumbled upon this old interview the other day. I'm bummed Fred's projects never really caught on after TBS. Terrible Things had some really catchy tracks
I don't think i liked the color fred as much as terrible things. maybe i'd like it more now if i gave it another listen. If I Surrender was good.
Holy Water You Can't Look Back Call Come Running Death Wolf Damn, that round was tough. Holy Water is top 5 TBS for me. Death Wolf v Tidal Wave might have been the toughest pick for me. Those songs pack such a great one two punch to start the record. It's pretty rare for me not to listen them back to back.
Run a bracket and not tell me, @BTDandFeelingThis ?! I should blast you into other world. But instead: Holy Water We Don't Go In There Call Come Running Death Wolf
I'm in the complete minority here but Holy Water is my least favorite song on Tidal Wave. I just can't stand when Adam reaches for those high notes. It's like screeching. It's one of the reasons I'm not too much of a fan of Everything Must Go either (again, in complete minority). As for You Can't Look Back...I think it's one of the best songs the band has ever written.
Current total scores: Holy Water-9 I Felt It Too-7 You Can't Look Back-15 We Don't Go In There-1 Call Come Running-12 Homecoming-4 Tidal Wave-3 Death Wolf-13
Same here for Holy Water. Adam's vocals are atrociously out of tune. Makes me want to slap the producer in the face for letting him sing that.
Yes! Agreed. You get a pass on the EMG statement because you did the right thing and voted Tidal Wave.
