i really want the New Again preorder thing, with the car and dice. ive got the self titled one with the lyric cards, i eep forgetting to take pics of them.
I randomly get "Beat Up Car" stuck in my head sometimes. Top tier TBS track. Also New Again deserves more love. It's got excellent TBS songs and just has a darker, more aggressive edge to it which I really like. Shame Fazzi didn't get to show off more.
parts of new again are great but it's soooo uneven ("catholic knees"? "cut me up jenny"? also adam's singing is garbage on most of the record)
That live album where they sang New Again songs is great and probably better than the album versions by miles.
anyway, controversial opinion maybe: louder now would be a perfect record if they'd scrapped "divine intervention" and put "brooklyn" in its place
I love "I'll Let You Live", but I think if "Brooklyn" were to make an appearance on the album it would be a great closer.
Don't forget about those Louder Now demos either. Those are great. I love the extended bridge for "What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost", they should have kept it in. And that alternative version of "20/20". So good.
I could never get into divine intervention, I'll let you live, 20/20, or up against. Miami and Brooklyn are dope tracks though. The "terror held in wedding bells" part by Fred is one of my favorite TBS moments.
That Divine Intervention demo (which is really a Semi Automatic demo) is one of my favorite TBS songs.
Swap out up against and I'll let you live, with Brooklyn and sleep, and you have yourself a damn fine album. Also never understood the Miami hate, one of my favorites from LN
Miami bridge has always been awesome. chorus is another story. New Again is better than Louder Now #shotsfired
