TBS Sunday and these other legacy bands can’t expect fans to stand through all these other bands (which I’m sure are probably great bands). We are old as shit. Also if they are releasing a new album, this seems like a weird way to promote it. People will expect the hits.

Maybe they do a fall tour for their album release

I didn't know that. But in any case, my post was about how many musicians past their peak of popularity have to retire from music because it's a super difficult field to earn a living from

My boyfriend is currently on a work trip/vacation he won and he texted me late last night that one of the other winners is neighbors with the Lazzara's, and is friends with Adam's wife. I jokingly told him to have her find out any details about the new album haha.

I can't think of a worse way to hear a new tbs song than a live debut. Hopefully there's a release before the tour.

None of my roommates in college were into TBS but it quickly became a party staple in our house lol

They played the song New Again for the first time at a surprise show more than a year before the album came out. I am probably 100 of the 12,000 views on this video.

Wait, what? Where'd you hear this from? I was under the impression they're in the writing/recording phase.

A friend told me they said it twice on a live Sad Summer Instagram video with The Maine today.

WOW that’s awesome! I saw the livestream pop up but figured they would only talk about that festival that I don’t really care about lol. Glad it seems like they went and knocked out the tracking pretty quick!

They weren't very forthcoming with the details about the recording process as it was happening, but they were in and out of studios during the 3eb tour and immediately following the MCR dates they did (and maybe between the WWWY festival dates, but I could be wrong on this). I don't think they explicitly said it themselves, but every once in a while one of them would post a photo to Instagram on their individual accounts. In the live today, they mentioned that they'd been out to The Maine's studio a couple of times to work on it.
