I could have sworn they posted somewhere on social media around Xmas/New Years where they said 'new music coming in 2023'

 

yeah, they definitely mentioned they were demo'ing - would expect an album late 2023 or early 2024

 

Man, I'm REALLY hoping for a Fred and TBS reunion at some point. He seems like he still loves performing these songs, and I really miss his guitar parts in the band.

 

Highly doubt this would ever happen but would be cool

 

the closest shot i think we get to it is when LN turns 20 in 2026, assuming they're still an active band then they'll HAVE to commemorate that album in some way. i don't know if a 'reunion' will happen but, it would be cool to see him play some songs with them.

I wouldn't call that rendition "country," but it definitely sounds awesome.
Crazy how Fred's voice is still the same almost 20 years later. And of course he slays that guitar solo.

I doubt there will ever be a reunion with TBS, but if The Color Fred and TBS ever end up on the same festival bill (maybeee Bamboozle this year??) I could see him coming up to play a couple songs.

 

Do they get along?

 

I think they're on mostly good terms with both Fred and Rubano after all of these years. Pretty sure Fred mentioned that he has talked to Adam in recent years. Plus, he has repeatedly spoken very highly of them in recent years. I also think Rubano said on some podcast that he played a festival that TBS was playing a couple years ago. He was nervous about it, but they all hung out for a little bit and it went well. Wish I had those podcast links on hand.

 

I know at the time, Fred and Matt both had pretty dramatic departures, Matt being much more in the public. I’m sure with time and everyone being in a different place in their lives, it’s probably less contentious. But I’d be surprised if there was ever anything more than playing a song or two on stage. Riley eventually played a song on stage with The Used, so to say never may not be the best approach. It just seems unlikely.

 

I just want an album where Adam sounds decent. I don't care if they autotune the shit out of him. Give me Happiness Is sounds. Tidal Wave sounded awful

 

I have the same Christmas tree shirt so this had me do double take. I thought it was my house lol.
