Ugh, I really hope I can get it figured out to get my ticket switched from Sunday to Saturday before this happens. Not going if I can't go with everyone else I want to be there with.

 

I wonder if this is another tour or just the dates with mcr and the riot fest show. But they also confirmed yet again they are working on a new album

Sure, Adam is hit or miss live, but I've always enjoyed what he brings to albums.

 

I think he sounds horrible on Tidal Wave. Holy Water is unlistenable

 

He sounds fine on the records to me and also on the latest single with Aoki.

 

I’ve seen TBS live a bunch of times and will probably continue to see them live, but at this point all I care about is if the record sounds good and that Steve Aoki song sounded just fine.

 

Tidal Wave is incredible but you’re spot on with Holy Water.

I vaguely remember reading (watching?) an interview with Mark that mentioned that he wrote some of their songs. I know that's vague, but if someone could point me in the right direction, that would be great.

 

He wrote the Cute riff.

mark also iirc wrote the riff for “better homes and gardens”? i unfortunately can’t remember where i learned that

 

I also believe Mark had a big hand in writing “Swing”. I think it was mentioned on the DVD that came packaged with the New Again CD.

yall gotta remember theres a huge difference between performing live every single night while moving around on stage a bunch and sitting still in a recording booth doing as many takes as you need to and splicing together the best sounding parts from each take

 

Lmao people have literally been talking about Adam sounding bad live since I first lurked on AP in like 2006. This is not news folks! Just go to the show and have a good time and if you want it to sound like the record then listen to the record imo
