I bet Shawn Cooper donates to charities that help minorities. I could be 100% wrong, but just a vibe I get from him.
I get a vibe that John Nolan has played guitar for a long time and supports gay rights. Source: His twitter says longtime guitarist and, I quote, he says, I am truly in my element here as a gay rights icon.
I get a vibe that they're not really 100% committed to taking back Sunday. They might settle for a 50/50 kind of thing.
Personally, me, I think they want to take back Monday. From Garfield. The cat. He doesn’t respect it.
Flicker Fade El Paso Great Romances Error Operator Sink Into Me This Photograph is Proof MakeDamnSure Your Own Disaster those are the only TBS songs i really need
I remember when saying WYWTB was your favorite was "wrong". Glad to see that mentality has faded. Still my fave by a long shot. WYWTB >>>> HI > TAYF > LN > TBS > NA > TW
This thread is a good example of what 6 years without a new album from an active band does to a fanbase. We're losing it! Talking in circles! Dredging up old drama! Repeating conversations. Anywho here's my ranking and why WYWTB > LN > TAYF > HN > NA > TW > S/T So my 2 favorite have always been the same though at times one can overtake the other. I went with WYWTB since I think it closes stronger. I'll Let you live is not a great track. From NA forward I haven't connected with any of the albums as much. They all at least have a few tracks I think are great but then some that I think are clunkers or that I don't care to return to. Highlights from NA onward NA: Summer man, Swing, Everything Must Go (best closer?!) S/T: This Is all Now, Faith, El Paso, Best Places HN: Flicker Fade, Beat Up Car, Better Homes WT: You Can't Look Back, Fences I also want to say Louder Now leaving off Brooklyn and Sleep was a mistake. Cut Up Against for Brooklyn and maybe replace Divine Intervention with Sleep? Or leave Divine and make it a 12 track album.
I always have to let an album marinate for about a year before I really know how I feel about it. The initial reaction is never the lasting reaction.
"We're going on a year-long global tour in 2024 to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of Where You Want To Be! We'll be playing Tell All Your Friends in its entirety! We plan to finish up our first new studio album since 2016 as soon as we get home."
Unless I'm misunderstanding, the recent instagram post seems to suggest they're playing WYWTB in full at When We Were Young Fest
