weezer is legit terrible after the first 2 albums. There’s maybe 4 good songs on the next 2 albums and then it’s all shit.
I've had the chorus to Everything Must Go living rent free in my head for the past week. Such a good album closer.
What’s even more cringey than Weezer covering “Africa” is when people talk like they’re a living, breathing meme. Get some new material haha. Put me down if internet culture lingo ever becomes part of my vocabulary and I start using it to try to be tough online.
And I agree. Pinkerton and Blue are the only Weezer albums I love. All their others could spontaneously combust one day and I would just tip my hat and say “el scorcho! ay carumba!”
