Regardless of who sang it, seeing them play Existentialism is one of the biggest highlights of the dozen times I've seen them. That, and Your Own Disaster.
John's voice hasn't been the same since that first Straylight album. Maybe he didn't wanna strain his voice every night with it? Also has everyone seen this? - Still blows my mind how good this song is. Definitely the best thing John's ever written. If he ended up letting TBS have it (apparently he traded this for Slowdance when he quit the band) it would've been a massive hit.
AltPress also named it their album of the year that year, then when John and Shaun rejoined the band they wrote an article about the reunion that said New Again was disappointing lmao
oh so, wait, EoP was originally a TBS song? if thats true then it makes perfect sense why adam would re-claim vocal duties hah
I thought I read somewhere that EoP was originally a TBS song and Slowdance was mostly written by John and when they split they agreed that SR could have EoP and TBS could keep Slowdance.
least favorite song for me is either Money, Twenty-Twenty Surgery, or Cut Me Up Jenny. It's probably Money though.
