But yeah I also like El Paso and IIRC that was the first song we heard from the reunion and I was like wow they went HARD

 

The Bamboozle version of You Know How I Do is killer, but my vote for best opener still goes to El Paso.


Crazy how much of a nosedive that album takes...

 

The band is so great at picking openers, and then you never know what you're gonna get after that.

 

Yeah i think the context and circumstance of the song is what really makes people like it, its the first real release of a song we got for the reunion (we had a demo of Best Places… first iirc) and yeah it goes waaay harder than they ever have before, so it was new. The first impressions have lasted forever.

Its not a good song lol

not outright terrible, but by no means great
