are they repressing LN again already? I got the repress in 2017 but i didnt know they were doing one again. I’d love an Orensanz repress but i dont expect it.

Id kill from Orensanz on vinyl! I don’t remember where I saw they were repressing LN... I think it may have been in social media comments on a post about LN anniversary merch

 

I'd pay top dollar for an Orensanz repress. I don't think we'll ever get it because they probably don't want to promote anything to do with that line-up ever again.

 

As shitty as it is for the band, I think the best chance of Orensanz is Warner just deciding press it on their own. Probably as a record store day release or something similar.

 

All this talk made me get New Again on Amazon for 14 dollars haha

 

But is it their best or worst album? Let's discuss.

Honestly New Again is toward the top for me. But Louder Now is my least favorite so I don’t think my tastes represent the TBS community...

Yeah, I really got into them after watching some videos from live shows (I think from a show in Boulder, Colorado? Crazy how you remember details like that...) from the TAYF era. There was just an insane energy there.

I really, really have to go back and listen to New Again and Self Titled to do this properly. I remember being pleasantly surprised by Happiness Is so I must have come off Self Titled feeling pretty down on them. TAYF is a special album for me but I think I could make an argument that the production and general style on WYWTB catapult it to their best album if you were to revisit them all now.

HA great minds think alike. Went on Amazon earlier today looking for Louder Now, saw New Again for that sweet price, and pulled the trigger.
I think I saw self titled also for $14 but I passed.
