If only I had a dollar for every time I said on this site that New Again is TBS’s best record... I still believe it.

Especially after hearing what’s come out of TBS post-Fazzi era.

S/T, Happiness Is.., and Tidal Wave all have a few solid tracks for sure but the records don’t meet the highs of New Again in my opinion. Also, they have plenty of songs that bore me. I rarely revisit those three records.

New Again > Louder Now > WYWTB are my top three.

Where you want to be is their best. I don’t like anything after new again.

There’s definitely a cycle on this thread but it doesn’t help that it’s been almost 5 years since Tidal Wave.

I feel like Adam is always used pretty well when it comes to features. He's great on that Cydni Lauper song. There was another called Hopeless Romantic or something like that. I remember not liking the song much but thinking he was great on it.

Maybe I’ve just played Louder Now to death and seen them play songs from it way too many times since 2005. Idk only half the album does anything for me. Outside of My Blue Heaven I could skip tracks 4-9.

glad they both thought it was a mistake to leave "brooklyn" and "sleep" off the record

Never imagined a day we’d get a TBS/Wu-Tang crossover, incredible

It is absolutely criminal that Brooklyn and Sleep were left off of Louder Now. Bums me out every time I think about it. They could have replaced Up Against and made it a 12-song record. There, now you have an even more perfect album.

Not putting “Sleep” and “Brooklyn” in the track list instead of “Up Against” and “Twenty-Twenty Surgery” will always have me shaking my head.
