Tidal Wave is the best post-reunion record easily. Happiness Is is third behind TW and the self-titled.

 

It’s spring time, which means it’s Happiness Is time, which means it’s almost summer time, which means it’s almost New Again time.

I think if you combine the good half of Happiness with the good half of Tidal Wave then you have a very great TBS album

 

I wish they would have done this interview with literally any other publication.

 

But you just named two great tbs albums

 

they have several very solid albums, which is more than most bands can say, but they’ve never had a single great album let alone two

despite anyone's personal opinions, Tell All Your Friends is actually a bonified classic

 

Definitely in the camp that Tidal Wave and Happiness Is are their two best records, and probably the only two I'd be interested in going back to. Excited to see what they do next.

 

TAYF and WYWTB are both great albums

lot of fondness for those two. still some songs that weren't great then and still aren't. blue channel used to rule but I can't be listening to that over the age of 30 cmon

 

I can’t not sing all of the words to those songs at the top of my lungs whenever they come on in the car, even at 30 lol

 

will always be one of TBS' most iconic riffs

it's not exactly the same or anything but I always thought it was super similar to the riff from You Got Me lol

I don’t care, I’m over 30 and I will still scream along about my pictures not lining her mirror and still waiting for her call. Can still feel that shit down in my 19 year old fresh off a break up’s bones.

Related, that actually used to be my least favorite song/one I skipped. Don’t remember exactly when it clicked for me but eventually it did and now is definitely a “yeah I’m in the mood to scream right now” song lol

 

Is "favourite TBS bridge" a cliched topic that's been run into the ground like ranking albums or songs? That Fred vid has just reminded me that What's it feel like to be a ghost has to be up there.

My Blue Heaven's too although it's really the transition into the last chorus with the COMING THROUGH! that I love rather than just the bridge itself. I guess CWTE is the most obvious one.
