Mark is one of my favorite drummers out there. He goes so hard and is incredibly creative.

 

I think Mark had issues with a lot of the guys...I think he hated Fazzi too. And yeah, I do believe he said unless they bring John/Shaun back, then they weren't going to continue, but I think Adam had said that as well.

I feel like TAYF also doesn’t have any drum fills...vaguely remember reading or seeing an interview that stated Mark just wasn’t advanced enough as a drummer/song writer to incorporate them into the songs when they were recorded (I think Mark was the one who said that about himself)

Was just listening to that self titled album the other day and was thinking how if they just cut the opening track it's a perfect record.

 

perfect ending is a very unusual closer haha

 

New Fred song reminds me of Foo Fighters.

In case anyway wanted a lesson on playing New American Classic

 

man that was the first song i ever used to dabble in finger picking. used to be so fun to play.

 

I am completely shocked that he plays that in an open G tuning. I learned it in standard. Mind blown.
