ah yes we're back on this wave of the thread again someone @ me when we talk about how this band is good again, thanks
I think I always underrated Eddie’s contributions to the band. Fred credits the main riff to Bonus Mosh to Eddie in that video, and i know he also had a big part in the guitars for 180 by Summer and Great Romances. I’m curious what other riffs he came up with
If I remember correctly, Eddie also came up with the intro to “What’s It Feel Like to Be a Ghost?”. I agree his contributions have been underrated, Mark’s too. It’s cool TBS has always split writing credits equally, but it sure makes it tougher to parse who came up with what.
New Again is good---that's a fact. I hated it--I was wrong. Looking forward to some new music. I do like Tidal wave but dont' go back to it as much as I do with happiness is.
I listened to "Twenty-twenty surgery" the other day and was shocked at how prescient it was until I learned the lyrics actually AREN'T "it's not the quarantine that bothers me"
I put on Tell All Your Friends the other day for the first time in years and I forgot how much I love that album. The energy is what sets it apart, to me.
Looks like John, Adam, Ben Homola, and Anthony Green were working on something together. https://instagram.com/stories/antho...urce=ig_story_item_share&igshid=1kpxttbbhn1il
Fred’s shout at the end of the album version of ADUTI is a perfect vocal take and all these years later I’m never not excited to hear it.
Fred did a full album cover of Bend to Break on his Facebook live on Sunday morning. I think it's still up on his page.
