Ugh the existence of that XEB band bothers me so much.
As for Fred, there's a lot of songs from the WYWTB/LN era that he probably wrote 90% of, and sang a good portion of. I wouldn't mind him keeping songs like New American Classic or WIFLTBAG as staples in his set.

 

i'd be fine with the existence of xeb if they weren't 10000000x worse live than 3eb

 

Yeah, I mean I am totally fine with XEB existing if it makes them happy, I just really am not a fan of it

theyre playing on LI this weekend, might try to check them out

 

I think Happiness Is steady grew into my favourite TBS album without me even noticing

I like Fred as much as the next guy, but I would never ever ever trade John away for him. Would it be cool to have both in the band? Totally. But if it's John or Fred, sorry Fred.

 

I'd take Fred over John any day

 

Fred or Fazzi

 

Yeah that's the really difficult choice for me, I honestly don't know who I'd choose. They're both really talented guitarists, I prefer Fazzi's live voice, but it's very hard to compare their song-writing.

 

Oh I just meant I’d take either over John. Between the two, it depends on context. Fred has the slight edge over Fazzi in the context of the band, but outside of the band I think Fazzi’s output is waaaaay stronger than Fred’s.

 

I’d take Straylight Run over any TBS related project.

I also can't believe anyone wants Fazzi in this band. He was on the band's worst album and obviously didn't mesh with them musically, not sure what world would exist that he would make sense in the band

 

How in just TBS terms is Fred only a SLIGHT edge over Fazzi?

I'm gladly taking Happiness, Tidal Wave and TAYF over WYWTB and LN without even accounting for self-titled.

Def Straylight Run disrespect up in here too, so big nope to that.

 

New Again is one of my favorite albums from them

Probably tied with WYWTB for favorite TBS album

 

Those are my top two.

dunno how anyone could jam Live from Orensanz and say he didn't mesh with the band. but whatever John rules

 

Team Fred! I love many songs they've done since LN but no album as a whole comes close for me.

 

honestly, adam is tbs. guitar/vocals are interchangable but if you don't adam, you don't have tbs. adam4lyfe.
