An early version was played live pre John and Shaun leaving. But the recorded and finished version is self-titled.
I believe they were playing some form of it live during the TAYF early 2000's days with Shaun and John and then after the original lineup came back they re-recorded some version of it
That chorus is so different compared to You Should Have, is it really a different version? I think it's a different song.
there's another one of these. for the life of me i can't remember it now. i think it was on punkrockvids lol
It was definitely punkrockvids, that place was my gateway into live shows! We're fortunate to have folks like hate5six.com, feet first productions, etc. now though.
Wasn’t there a site called This Is Not Emo and it had a version of Slowdance on the Inside with John? Am I making that up? Or is that a memory?
Yea, there's that one and then there was also another version of what eventually became ...Slowdance On The Inside with John. I used to have the audio, it was called ellieisomgsohot or something like that.
THIS IS WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT. this isn't slowdance though as we know it. i believe the demo for that was called "ellieisomghawt" and they performed at Emo's in TX
Ah, memories... days where I would spend hours downloading these types of videos that seemed SOOOO good to me back then.
I think it was Mark who said said they changed it because it originally sounded too much like Sum 41’s “Still Waiting”.
I still hope they'll eventually release the 2010 demos for You Should've Waited and Best Places To Be A Mom.
