Eventhough there’s obvious autotune on it.....Live from Bamboozle still rules. I think I’m gonna run to that album today.
I knew I should’ve recorded it. It was my favorite live. They kill that song. I did record Slowdance for my friend though.
I've had more luck with finding live videos on Instagram but hate that they are limited to 60 seconds.
Back in the early 2010s I had my own YouTube channel and posted full videos of songs from concerts I went to, but I haven't done that since like, Instagram and other social media outlets made it so much easier to post/upload. Also, years ago, the labels started cracking down really hard on live videos posted to YouTube and were deleting them. You can still find some live videos, but it's nothing like it was 7, 8 years ago imo.
There is a short video on Youtube of Adam, John and Nathan talking about playing the intro back to back for the first time, they play intro then the video ends.
Heres a video of Slowdance I recorded. Took it on my iPhone. There...someone uploaded a live video on youtube lol.
Did he actually leave the band? Can't remember which interview it was but the guys were talking about Eddie like he was more on a break and could come back in the future. Could've just misinterpreted it though!
Well not for nothing but it’s sad that they’re celebrating 20 years of the band and he’s not there for it. I understand he had to do what he had to do, but It just doesn’t feel right. I hope he joins them again one day.
On the Lead Singer Syndrome podcast a little bit ago, John said that they weren't officially filling his spot in case Eddy wants to ever come back. I wonder if that is really true or if things have changed since then?
I did a TBS discography run this week and here is my ranking: Happiness Is Tidal Waves New Again Louder Now WYWTB Self-Titled TAYF Yup, I think TAYF is their worst.
Tbh for years I was a TAYF stan but at this point I've noticed that most of it has aged kinda poorly compared to most of their other stuff. I still love the album for nostalgia reasons but I don't get as excited about listening to it anymore. WYWTB is still peak TBS.
The production and vocals are atrocious. I wish they would remaster it all. The guitars are out of the, vocals are out of tune. After hearing it so much over the years it just tears my ears apart. Same goes for The Offsprings Americana album. Vocals/harmonies are so off.
