Luckily for Sad Savior though, the rest of the song is great. Money is a dumpster fire through and through. The guitar tone on Sad Savior’s intro is what bothers me most. It just sounds dead to me.
seeing these dudes Sunday! I don’t really care about TAYF in full. They need to just be done with the special TAYF stuff. No need to keep playing it front to back every single night on the tour, especially since they have other great albums that don’t get enough love in regular sets. But I’m stoked for either WYWTB or LN! Always a fun band to see live. I think this will be my 11th time seeing them too. Crazy.
I haven’t seen TAYF live yet, so I’m not against them playing it. HOWEVER, I do with it was TW or HI instead
Same, but I wasn't as excited for it when it happened as I would be now. I think they did the tour too soon after the album hit (weren't some dates even before it dropped?). You gotta give it time for people to fall in love with those songs.
‘Twas an awesome show and I gotta give the band huge credit for having the guts to play a brand new album in full. Bold move but luckily the album was/is good enough to justify it.
They announced a show in St Augustine at the amphitheater with Jimmy Eat World. Floor tickets are $56 so the wife and I are going. Stoked!
Yea, I waited too long to buy tickets to the TW tour and they ended up being way out of my price range. It's an extra bummer because they were also with Every Time I Die.
My local venue in Philly just announced 2 shows in November. They're playing TaYF in full. Then they're flipping a coin to play either WYWTB or LN. They'll play one of those one night and the other on the next night. Too bad they couldn't just have Fred rejoin for this tour and play WYWTB and LN every single night.
I love Cut Me Up Jenny and New Again in general. I never understood the hate for the record and I think it's one of TBS's best records to date. It's definitely my favorite and I know that I am in the minority here but oh well. The potential was also not met on NA but I blame the producer who held Fazzi back big time by cutting out most of his dual vocals (Live From Orensanz shows what could have been) and having one of their best songs for that record cut as well - Winter Passing.
